We had an amazing time at our Mitten Making Event this weekend! Together with Family Sharing of Ozaukee County and volunteers, we created 20 pairs of mittens from repurposed felted sweaters and fleece. These handmade mittens will be donated to local neighbors in need of extra warmth!

To continue supporting our neighbors, we will have a donation bin at the museum! Now through October 18th, if you bring in an item from Family Sharing’s most-needed items list:https://www.familysharingozaukee.org/food-pantry/most-needed-items/, you will receive half off admission to the museum!

Hoping to embellish or mend some old denim? Join us August 1st after our conversation with artist Holly Wong from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for a workshop on visible mending and embellishing methods! 👖🪡🌸

Materials and tools are provided, but please BYOD (bring your own denim)! We will have embroidery materials, ribbon, buttons, scrap fabric, etc!
