Central, as promised we’ve fixed the typo on the below brick. My apologies for it taking so long as we can’t order bricks until we have a certain number. With that in mind, if you have a loved one, that’s a Veteran and would like to honor them with a brick paver on your Veterans Memorial message me an email address and I’ll send the form. On this Day we honor all Veterans and with that I’ll give you a poem.
“Guardians of Our Freedom”
Beneath the flag’s unending wave,
Stand hearts both humble, strong and brave.
Through storms of fear, through nights so long,
They marched with courage, steadfast, strong.

They left their homes, their dreams, their land,
To answer duty’s solemn hand.
With every step, they paid the price,
In Sweat, in tears, in sacrifice.

We live in peace because they fought,
For Freedoms dearly, fiercely sought.
Today we bow, we stand, we say,
We honor you this Veterans Day.

Your Veterans Memorial is at 1/2 mast by order of Mayor Sid Edward’s in honor of Sgt. Caleb Eisworth. He fought the good fight and now may he rest in peace. God bless him and his family.
