The 53rd Annual Meeting of the Centralia Historical Society celebrated the 2026 AB Chance Inventive Thinking Awards. Each year these awards recognize Centralia Intermediate School 5th grade students for their inventions & creativity. Present at tonight’s museum meeting were the top 3 Shark Tank winners who recently won at the school’s Science Night after presenting their inventions before a panel of judges-including Museum Director Marjorie Motley.
We were honored to have these students and their inventions at tonight’s meeting along with their teacher Marcia Kalinowski.
A big thank you to Lizzy Romine for her talents in providing violin music throughout the museum under the direction of CHS Orchestra Director Leah Rolfson.
