The Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce is proud to present a series of special events commemorating the 250th Anniversary of our Nation, and we hope you will join us as we celebrate America 250: Faith, Family and Freedom.

# # # Flag Day Program

Join us on June 14 at 1:00 PM for a special “Flag Day Program” at Providence Church on Main Street in historic Chappell Hill.

# # # “We Hold These Truths: An Evening of Remembrance”

On June 29, we invite you to attend “We Hold These Truths: An Evening of Remembrance.” This unique dinner experience is modeled after the tradition of a Seder meal and focuses on three foundational principles of our nation: faith, liberty, and unity.

Come celebrate the 250th anniversary of the document that forged our nation in an unforgettable evening of reflection, fellowship, and patriotism. Bring your children and grandchildren and share in this meaningful experience together.

# # # World Famous Marching Kazoo Band Practice Sessions

Be sure to bring the kiddos to practice sessions for the “World Famous Marching Kazoo Band” as they prepare for the Biggest Small-Town Parade in America!

* June 14 – 2:00 PM at Providence Church (5175 Main Street)
* June 28 – 5:00 PM at Providence Church (5175 Main Street)

# # # America 250: Faith, Family and Freedom Independence Day Parade

And the biggie — join us for the America 250: Faith, Family and Freedom Chappell Hill Independence Day Parade at 10:00 AM in downtown Chappell Hill.

This beloved tradition will feature:

* A public reading of the Declaration of Independence
* The firing of the official Chappell Hill cannon to begin the parade
* Paul Revere’s Scavenger Hunt immediately following the parade for children of all ages

And of course… there will be a few surprises before, during, and after the parade!

Come spend the day in historic Chappell Hill and celebrate America 250 with us!
