Since moving to 12 years ago I have put most of my creative energy into nurturing community and building experiences. This journey has brought me through many great communities and allowed me to continue my mission of making a creative impact. But as I have grown I have realized that there are limits in which we can achieve were our pace is lessoned by how much we are trying to balance. 2017 has been a year of self reflection and setting new goals and I'm happy to announce the next chapter as Joel Tracey Creative. Putting my past efforts on the shelf and pushing forward as a solo creative studio offering up and to everyone that has supported Culture Initiative over the years.. maybe there will be a sequel one day but for now it's onto being a friend, creative, and artist. It was a dream of creating something new and unique for our city, a passion shared with my good friend . It evolved as did we and I felt it important to keep the flame alive as our professional careers forked. and helped carry the torch farther but ultimately the labor of love is a commitment hard to balance with life. Last year we shelved the project for the foreseeable future but as we all know passion is hard to turn off. I'm not sure what ci is or if it will become again, but for now I do know that I will never let culture go. Logo design in 2008 and still holds 8.5 years later. Fulfill the why and the result is timeless.
