Today we're wishing a very happy birthday to Tom Parks! Tom faithfully served the Town of Charlton as a Constable for an incredible 64 years. We are grateful for his many decades of dedicated service to our community. 🥳

As we celebrate Tom today, we're also excited to share that the 2027 Charlton Founders Day theme will honor the 235th anniversary of the Charlton Constables! We look forward to recognizing the long history of the constables who have served our town and sharing their stories with the community. 🚔

Happy 4th of July weekend from the Charlton Historical Society! 🇺🇸✨

As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate Independence Day, we're reminded of the generations who came before us and helped shape both our nation and our community.

This year is especially meaningful as we continue celebrating America's 250th Anniversary. It's a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our shared history, honor those who paved the way, and appreciate the stories that connect us to one another.

Our friends at Harmony Hall are hosting their Annual Strawberry Festival this Sunday, and it looks like a wonderful way to spend part of Father’s Day with family and friends.

🕗 Arrive 45–60 minutes early to allow time for parking, packet pick-up, and a good pre-race stretch!

🏛️ The Charlton Schoolhouse and Museum will be open—take a peek inside to learn more about the history behind this event and where your race-day support goes!

👋 It’s also a perfect time to catch up with neighbors and fellow runners before the starting bell.

☕ Sammy's Country Wagon, LLC will be on site to keep you fueled—before or after the run!
