Our friends at Harmony Hall are hosting their Annual Strawberry Festival this Sunday, and it looks like a wonderful way to spend part of Father’s Day with family and friends.

🕗 Arrive 45–60 minutes early to allow time for parking, packet pick-up, and a good pre-race stretch!

🏛️ The Charlton Schoolhouse and Museum will be open—take a peek inside to learn more about the history behind this event and where your race-day support goes!

👋 It’s also a perfect time to catch up with neighbors and fellow runners before the starting bell.

☕ Sammy's Country Wagon, LLC will be on site to keep you fueled—before or after the run!

One of the things that makes Charlton special is the many volunteers who quietly give their time to make our community a better place.

A heartfelt thank you to the Charlton NY Garden Club for once again planting and caring for the gardens at our Maple Avenue Schoolhouse and St. Paul's Church Museum. Their hard work adds so much beauty to these historic properties, and we are grateful for all they do throughout our town.

The Charlton Historical Society is busy getting ready for a wonderful Founders Day Weekend and the opening of the museum for the 2026 season!

A heartfelt thank you to the Charlton Highway Department for their help in preparing the grounds, and to our President, Jill Hofmann, and board member, Bill Wehrle, for their leading the charge of many hours of hard work and dedication helping get everything ready for visitors.

As we celebrate Charlton’s history and community, we invite everyone to stop by, explore our exhibits, and see what’s new this season. We look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and first-time visitors as we kick off another year of preserving and sharing Charlton’s rich heritage.

This Saturday, Harmony Hall will once again come alive with community gathering and dancing in the heart of Harmony Corners — the inspiration and theme behind this year’s Founders Day celebration. ✨

Harmony Hall is one of Charlton’s treasured historic buildings and has long served as a place where neighbors and community come together. It’s wonderful to see that tradition continue generations later.

Join the Charlton Historical Society for our Memorial Day Ceremony at Gideon Hawley Park on Monday, May 25 at 2PM. 🇺🇸

This special community gathering will be held rain or shine. In the event of rain, the ceremony will move inside Charlton Town Hall. Please bring a lawn chair for seating outdoors.

Following the ceremony, help us celebrate America’s upcoming 250th Anniversary with punch, cookies, and cupcakes while exploring pieces of Charlton history from our archives. We will also be unveiling the official 2026 Founders Day Button from Happy Little Button Shop for the very first time!

We’ll have a collection of historic Charlton programs and memorabilia on display, including some wonderful pieces from years past like the ones pictured below. We hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of remembrance, community, and local history.
