Our FLOWER PRESS WORKSHOP is back! SUNDAY, SEPT 1st, 8:30am -10:30am. Deadline to register is Monday, Aug 19th. Learn this time-honored technique from Marguerite Alpert of The Flowered Press. Marguerite will teach you how to dry fresh flowers, press them correctly, and guide you to imagine, compose, and create works of art and design using these treasures from nature. You’ll leave with all the tricks and skills necessary to continue creating.
Workshop fee is $85 per person. Suitable for ages 10yrs+. Includes 2+ hours of hands-on creating and all materials needed to press and design with flowers, minus the press which is required for the workshop and will need to be purchased from the Gallery. Yours to keep, we offer a variety of hand crafted flower presses! Prices from $22 (4” x 4”) to $48 (7” x 7”) with additional sizes/options in between.
* This workshop requires 8 students to run. If we receive less than 8 participants, it will be rescheduled for a later date with the option to reserve your space or receive a refund. Otherwise, the deposit is non-refundable unless we can fill your space.
