“DEAD AIR: THE NIGHT THAT ORSON WELLES TERRIFIED AMERICA,” ON MAY 20 at 7pm
Presented by bestselling author William Elliott Hazelgrove

On Oct. 30, 1938, Orson Welles presented a realistic dramatization of a Martian invasion of the United States. It was so realistic that it convinced listeners across the country that the end of the world had arrived. It was the power of Welles’ voice that made the broadcast so realistic. This presentation should not be missed as bestselling author William Elliott Hazelgrove relates the staggering effect that Welles’ opera of panic had on the nation.

Unfortunately this presentation will not be available on Zoom.

We are desperately in need of a new roof. Please consider a donation so we can proceed with a roofing company while the weather is still good. In the future, you can drive or walk by, look up, and say “I helped buy that roof!”
