“My work explores identity, memory, Latinidad, and the spaces that people inhabit. Through photography, I focus on the intimate moments of everyday life that reveal how personal histories shape how we move through the world. I use my voice, accompanied by those like me, as a form of resistance.”

A special shoutout to our photography intern, Hayley , for creating these amazing 3D logo characters for each of our interns as part of her creative project 🫶 We love seeing everyone bring their own creativity and perspective into the museum community.

Today, we highlight the work of the founder of the DMoC, Tanner Woodford. Under his leadership, the museum has become “one of Chicago’s most vital civic design spaces—free by design, relentlessly curious, and rooted in trust.”
