Agitator's goal is to curate art work that agitates – or campaigns to provoke – conversation, intellect, and diversity. The gallery had a storefront space in Wicker Park-West Town for three years from September 2017 to September 2020. Because of the pandemic, we left our storefront gallery space on September 1, 2020, but we plan to return to a physical space in 2021. We will continue some activiti

es, shows, and events online in the interim. Monthly shows curated by gallery member-curators, pop-up shows, guest artist displays in the Nook, an Artist in Residence show, weekly drop-in figure drawing sessions, performance nights with film and/or music, monthly science talks -- there were some of our regularly scheduled events and activities. The Figure Tuesdays drop-in figure drawing session for Tuesday, May 12 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM will feature Holden, so come draw with us!

Arrive early to get a good seat or a drawing horse or easel. We open at 6:30pm.

No reservations are needed for this in-person only and informal drawing session.

Cold beverages are available for a small donation.

The $15 - $20 donation pays for the figure model and contributes towards gallery operating expenses.

Agitator Gallery is happy to host the 2026 Bike Winter Art Show. Chicago Bike Winter is a loose knit advocacy group dedicated to promoting the joys, rights and opportunities for Chicagoans to bike the city's roads, streets, trails and byways throughout the year (and especially provides resources to encourage biking in Winter months.) The Bike Winter Art Show (BWAS) has been presented in various studios, lofts and galleries since 1997.
Deadline for submissions is Sunday, February 1, 6pm. No submissions will be accepted after the deadline.
The show will take place at Agitator Gallery, 3851 W Fullerton Ave Chicago IL 60647.
Opening Saturday, February 7, 7-10pm. Closing Friday, February 27, 7-10pm.
Submissions may be used for media and marketing of the 2026 Bike Winter Art Show and future BWAS exhibitions.
