"All Eyes On Art" welcomes artists of all mediums for different shows/exhibits all around the Chicagoland area. Our goal for each show is to provide an oppurtunity for many artists to display their work, free of charge. Its hard enough to make a living as an artist and we dont want to discourage from what it takes to be one. Not having to pay for space relieves some of the stress that displaying o
ur work brings. This is a great chance for all artists to take advantage of, and we encourage them to! "All Eyes On Art" does not currently have its own venue (as of yet) but we partner up with local venues all over Chicago to bring a great art showcase to that particular neighborhood for that day/evening. Some shows/exhibits run for 2-3 days as well, depending on the event. Like we've metioned, all shows are unique, so be sure to check out our events calender for more details. This idea arose when an artist named Juan Manuel Valdivia was looking for this very same thing and he couldn't find it. A venue where an artist could display free of charge and keep 100% of their sales. Juan found this a very difficult opportunity to come across, so he decided to start doing it himself to lend support to the artists just like himself. Today it's becoming a well known non-profit organization around the Chicagoland Area for its carnival style art shows. This has proved to be a great way for artists and the general public to view and be a part of the art community. All our shows/exhibits are arranged to allow for many artists to participate, each show being different than the last. We try to pair up artists with the event that we feel will be the most successfull for them. We are always recruiting and taking suggestions for local artists and artists from out of the Chicagoland area. We try to create an environment that will allow artists to communicate with the public so they can get to know them and their work on a more personal level. The public can ask questions, give comments, share information or even offer the artist a job. Yes, a job! The person they might be talking to could be one of many curators that we invite to all of all of our shows/exhibits. This is done to get the artists as much exposure as possible, especially if it results in other shows, galleries or festvals. That's "All Eyes On Art". It brings people closer to the arts. "I wanted to show that this is possible and it is! All types of artists are responding and joining becuase its free! Why not take the oppurtunity? It's there for you to utilize and it's free!!! This has the possibility to open up doors for an artist that they wouldnt normally have available to them. We open up multiple paths to get them where they want to be as an artist." -Juan M. Valdivia. So if your interested in checking out a show and seeing for yourself what it's all about, take a glance at our events page view what we have scheduled. Just a reminder, we add shows/exhibits frequently every 2 weeks to every month so check regularly. Remember, it's 100% free for artists to participate and they keep 100% of any and everything they sell.
