‘Variable Spaces’ opens this Thursday, 5pm-7pm!
We are so excited to showcase the artwork of a selection of our Fine Arts Minors in this inaugural exhibition. We hope to see you there!
✨
Opening Reception: Thursday, March 19, 5pm-7pm
‘Variable Spaces’ features recent artwork by students minoring in Fine Arts in their senior year at Loyola University Chicago. The contributions of the Fine Arts Minors allow our division to remain diverse, interdisciplinary, and ambitious. Participating student artists were nominated by lead faculty in each program within the Fine Arts Division, including Photography & Video Art, Ceramics & Sculpture, Visual Communication, and Drawing, Painting & Printmaking. The exhibition embodies the synergistic potential of the liberal arts experience, resulting in a passion for art, interdisciplinary thinking, and a commitment to intellectual curiosity. Artworks in the exhibition are unique examples of students bringing expertise from their major area of study into the creative spaces of the Fine Arts Division.
The Opening Reception will be held Thursday, March 19, 5pm-7pm and is open to the public. ‘Variable Spaces’ will run through April 11 with public viewing hours Saturdays, 12pm-3pm.
