A community for and about Baltic DPs--'Displaced Persons'--WWII refugees from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and the "No Home To Go: The Story of Baltic Displaced Persons, 1945-52" exhibition, on view at the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture, Chicago. a and Estonia during World War II; life in DP camps after the war; and immigrating to and adapting to their host countries. This page was created under the auspices of the Baltic DP Project, a collaboration of the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture, Chicago's Estonian House, Chicago Latvian Community and the Latvian Folk Art Museum in preparation for the "No Home To Go To: The Story of Baltic Displaced Persons from 1944-1952" exhibition and its accompanying series of exhibits, programs and events.
