CRAFT AID results:
Combining the total sales from the silent auction, live screen prints, and drinks, Craft Aid raised a total of $3,781.45!!!
We have chosen to donate these funds to the Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+), which provides craft artists with support and resources for disaster and emergency relief, education programs, and readiness grants to strengthen preparedness. Visit or cerfplus.org for more info.
Thank you to organizers Tamara Murphy () and Amanda Riner (.zella.riner). Thank you to all the artists and craftspeople who donated work to the show. Thank you to Kathleen () and our now-graduated intern Nat (.escobelli) for working the event (congrats Nat!!!). Thank you to everyone who bid on and purchased work.
And finally, thank YOU for reading, liking, commenting, and sharing our posts. Support like this is majorly helpful in getting the word out about new organizations like us.
Southern Appalachia is a beautiful place, one that holds an incredible depth of art and craft history, knowledge, and culture. We are made better by knowing it.
Sending yโall love and hope (and some money) from California. ๐งก
