I’m sorry to anyone who has commented, texted,called or otherwise tried to contact us in the last 2 1/2 weeks!!
I have not been ignoring anyone! Our internet service has been disrupted by trees being dropped on the fiber optic cables 😱
Just as they got us back online another one further up the mountain did it again!!!

We’re back… but who knows for how long ….

Good morning!!
I feel like I took a short trip back in time last week…
Our fiber optic cable was broken by a tree falling on it up the road and we had no idea.
We have no contact with the outside world (home phone is VOIP and cells have nothing in the mountains with fiber optic cable.
Needless to say it was very quiet here but some of my friends and especially family were wondering if they needed to send 🚓👮 to do a welfare check they were unable to reach us for a week and we were blissfully ignorant of the situation until hubby tried to download more books and he couldn’t. He rode up to the overlook (our public phone booth out here)
And reported that outage!
When they came out the first time he told us the problem was in our line only. They had to schedule another technician to fix our line to the house

So what out facebook friends… I have been silent for too long and you know I’m hardly EVER silent 🤫 😂😈😂💜
