May 2026 Update - The EASIEST method to perfectly time a Jeep L134 Engine!
After some engine issues earlier this month, I realized I needed to totally retime my engine. I ran across one of the easiest and simplest ways to perfectly time an L134 engine! Also, a look at the new ‘nose art’ on the Jeep and some shots of my Jeep with some warbirds!

⭐ Wings, Tracks, and Wheels 2026 Recap! ⭐
It’s May, so that means the return of the very popular Wings, Tracks, and Wings 2-day event at the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, CA. This year was BIGGER than ever, with over 50 military vehicles, including 22 Jeeps! This recap covers both days of the event.

April 2026 Update - Spark Plug woes, Oil Bracket Replacement, and fixing a seat!
Finally, a proper LARGE update with three big projects as I gear up the Jeep for the upcoming Wings, Tracks, and Wheels event at Chino Airport, CA (May 2-3, 2026). From a sudden issue with the Firestone spark plugs, to an oil leak and crack in the oil filter bracket, finally fixing my passenger seat, and more!

2025-2026 Update – Christmas Event, First Aid Kits, and a Jeep Book
Again, the time between updates has been really long because there’s not much going on with the Jeep! Since the restoration is pretty much done and I’ve shifted to a 1940 Ford Sedan I’m restoring, the Jeep hasn’t had much work done or needed to be done. But here are a few updates from the past few months!

81 YEARS TODAY! Another revolution around the sun, and the Jeep has reached 81 years since the 'Date of Delivery', which is often considered the 'birthday' of wartime Jeeps. So, as I do every year, I took her out for a spin around the neighborhood to stretch her legs on this day. It's an interesting feeling to be driving a Jeep and realize that 81 years ago on this day, someone in Louisville, KY was probably driving my Jeep making sure it passed all the tests to be accepted by the US Government.

2024 to First Half of 2025 – Overheating Results, Alternator Issues, Ammeter Replacement, & more!
Finally catching up on the last year and a half of updates, tweaks, changes, issues, etc. on the Jeep! From the final results of the overheating issue to major issues with the PowerGen Alternator, which looks like a generator. Plus, some minor improvements along the way!

WINGS, TRACKS, AND WHEELS 2025 – It’s been some time since the last big update, and I’m back with a big one! Two weekends ago was the 4th annual Wings, Tracks, and Wheels event at the Planes of Fame Air Museum (Chino Airport, CA) on May 3-4! Not only did we have nearly 50 vehicles in attendance, but we managed to put together a historic milestone of Jeep history! This update covers both days of the event.

I know, it's been forever since I've posted on here! I do hope to remedy that very soon. I need to finish the 2024 Normandy trip updates, and also some big Jeep updates. But, for those of you in Southern California, THIS WEEKEND (May 3-4) is the huge Wings, Tracks, and Wheels 2025 event at Chino Airport, CA! We will have well over 50-70 military vehicles at the event, huge reenactor encampment, a 'Jeeps Through History' look at Jeeps from the Slate Grille to the modern M1161 Growler, demos by a M20 Greyhound and M4A1 Sherman Tank, TEN World War 2 aircraft flying, a demo by a V-1 Rocket pulse jet engine, and so much more!
