We offer tours during regular hours and by appointment. The Chippewa Falls Museum of Industry and Technology records and preserve the history of important, unique, and ground breaking innovations in the industry and technology that were developed right here in the Chippewa Valley. We have regular open hours every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-3. You can stop by during open hours or contac

CFMIT was honored to have volunteers from HPE come to the museum to help volunteer! These amazing people were part of HPE's Leadership Development Program and helped the Museum Coordinator, Alexis, organize some Cray archives within our storage. It was a lot of fun and CFMIT thanks these wonderful volunteers greatly!!

Join us and the Chippewa Area History Center on Sunday September 28th to celebrate Seymour Cray's 100th birthday! This joint open house will be held from 12pm until 4pm at both museums with tours and events at both locations.

We will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Aug 28-29, and will reopen this Saturday, August 30th.
