They say if you want to know how much someone loves a dream, look at their hands. I say if you think my hands are full, you should see my heart. 💖

For the last six years, my hands have been very busy. They’ve curated spaces, hung amazing works of art, designed buildouts, and nourished a creative community.

We have been in our new space in OTR about four months now. I’ve spent most of that time navigating the blurry space between exhaustion and exhilaration, doing all the things a small business requires. I’m the designer, bookkeeper, curator, point of contact and the person that turns the lights off at night. I don’t say all that to sound like a superhero. It’s quite the opposite. I say it because being a small business owner, especially in today’s world, is raw, heavy and an incredibly vulnerable thing. ❤️

There are days I wonder if I’ve bitten off more than I can chew. But then the doors open. ✨

I’ve spent the last few months watching you walk into our new space by Findlay Market, and time after time, I see that sharp intake of breath. I see you look up at the ceiling, scan the work of over 300 artists, and just breathe. In those moments, all the hard work and moments of doubt melt away.

We have built something so much bigger than an art gallery or gift shop. We’ve built a sanctuary for makers and a heartbeat for this community. Watching this vision grow from our original home in New Richmond, to our sweet Columbia-Tusculum location, to the bustling energy of downtown has been an honor. I am so deeply grateful to the artists who trust me with their work and to the patrons who show up for us when they could easily go elsewhere. Your support is the fuel that helps keep this engine running. 💖

As we move into spring, I want to invite you to be a part of this next chapter. Come in and get lost in the details. Bring a friend who needs a little inspiration. If you’re looking for a place to gather, our creative space is ready for workshops, your celebrations, and your ideas.
