Baby it’s cold outside! And this Saturday is our annual Harper Holiday Show! Join us for good fun and a FREE PRINT!! ✨

This Saturday from 11-5 at our Fabulous Frames and Art Montgomery gallery for our annual Harper Holiday Show, where we’ll celebrate nearly four decades of this fun tradition, showcasing the work of midcentury modern icons Charley and Edie Harper!

Explore a gallery filled with the Harpers’ timeless artwork, perfect for holiday gifts. From art and apparel to housewares and unique finds, there’s something for everyone on your list.

The event will feature sweet treats and giveaways, framed Harper artwork displayed throughout (including rare, mint-condition vintage works), and a special appearance by Charley’s son, Brett. He’ll be there to sign books, greet attendees, and share stories with old friends and fans!

And continuing a cherished tradition started by Charley himself, this year’s lithograph print release, “Squirreled Away” (a $50 value), will be gifted with any artwork purchase on the day of the show!

Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind event. Celebrate art, tradition, and the season in style during the Harper Holiday Show!

Happy ! Today, we're highlighting a shadowbox with a signed Sandy Koufax jersey!

This shadowbox displayed a classic Omega Moulding black frame. The mat is a stunningly vibrant suede blue from Crescent Brands. The blue in the mat wonderfully compliments the color of the Los Angeles Dodgers text. This piece was framed with Tru Vue's Conservation Control Plexiglass.
When a piece is extra large/heavy, or valuable, we recommend framing with plexiglass. This material is a harder glazing to break, ergo providing a safer frame display.

Today's is ready to rock! Our customer brought in a signed poster from a Foo Fighters concert. This print design is reminiscent of an incident involving Iggy Pop in 1970. Iggy was crowd surfing during a performance in Cincinnati when a fan handed him a jar of peanut butter. Subsequently, Iggy began to spread the peanut butter all over his chest and flung some into the crowd. This Foo Fighter's poster design is harking back to that iconic scene.

This print already has numerous incredible details, so the frame design needed to be simple, as to not detract from the piece. A classic, shiny, silver frame by Nielsen was a perfect fit. This piece highlighted the iridescence of the poster, while not detracting from the solid colors. This piece was protected with Tru Vue's conservation clear acrylic. Plexiglass is one of the best ways to preserve valuable pieces because it is less likely to break and damage anything under it than glass is.

Happy ! Today's highlight is truly one in cha-million.

The stunning frame is from Fotiou Frames's Miami 2 collection. The bumpy texture of the frame beautifully compliments the texture of the chameleon in the tile. The red also matches the colors in the reptile. The mat is a simple black Crescent Brands black textured mat. We wanted to give the tile support without overpowering and distracting from its beauty.

Today’s is a stunning color explosion! This customer came in to reframe this gorgeous piece of art.

This design has two frames: Nielsen’s Amethyst and Omega Moulding's Pop! Glossy Sky Blue frame. The customer wanted a vibrant look to complement the painting, so we combined this metal frame and wood frame to create a captivating ensemble.

The painting is mounted via float mount methods to display the full piece, edge to edge. The multiple layers of mat are a classic off-white from Crescent Brands.

Today's highlight is a stunning piece of painted papyrus! Such gorgeous colors demand a just as vibrant frame design to compliment its rich palette. In order to showcase the piece's full beauty and organic edges, this painting was float mounted on top of a black backing. This method ensures no part of the piece is covered from the mat, and you see the unique edges.

The frame is from Bella Moulding's stunning Jelly Bellas series. Not only does the color compliment the painting, but the grain texture as well. The mat's used are from Crescent Brands. The yellow mat is from their Bright Cores collection.

This adorable mini outfit is the focus for today's ! A customer asked us to shadowbox this charming blue corduroy outfit with the matching feather hat.

The mat backing and liners are a simple cream paper from Crescent Brands. This subtle, clean color highlights the feathers and accent work on the clothing very nicely. The black frame is the ever-classic Omega Moulding matte black frame. Overall, this simple look helps the subject clothing pop and stand-out to the viewer!

Today’s is a special treat because we get to see a customer’s work on display! This wonderful customer sent us a photo of their four pieces hanging up in their home.

These stunning prints were framed with the ever classic Larson-Juhl White wide frame. The mat is a sleek Crescent Brands white mat. Overall, this combo is a stunning contemporary styling that fits this customer’s home beautifully.

Happy everyone! Today's post highlights two very talented bands: Arctic Monkeys and Cage The Elephant. This customer had two canvas posters for these bands and wanted to get them protected and framed to display at home!

The Arctic Monkeys poster showcases their song "There Better Be A Mirrorball". The frame is the stunning Omega Moulding Pop! in charcoal. The glossy finish helps accent the disco ball aesthetic in the poster.

Cage the Elephant's poster has the gorgeous Bella Moulding Wild Thing narrow frame. The subtle stripe on the frame brilliantly fits with the stripes in the Melophobia album background design. The high lacquer of this frame wonderfully compliments the Pop! Omega frame.

Heeeeeey batter batter, SWING batter! ⚾️ Happy everyone! This week's highlight is definitely love at first pitch. Our customer has a genuine ticket from a 1940 World Series game between the Detroit Tigers and our very own Cincinnati Reds! In order to protect the fragile ticket, it has been securely placed between two piece of conservation plexiglass. This method is one of the most archival ways to protect this piece of history.

This apt frame is the Arena moulding from Omega Moulding. The red stripe beautifully accents the iconic style of the Reds. The Crescent Brands black linen mat gives this layout a subtle elegance.

We can't Shake It Off how amazing this is! This piece is as stunning as our most Wildest Dreams.

This Delicate gold frame is from Larson-Juhl, and titled Colosseum II Moon Gold. We knew this frame was trouble when it walked in because the subtle brilliance compliments Taylor Swift's gold strands perfectly. The simple Crescent Brands black mat has some serious Style and helps the beautiful artistry pop out even more.

This adorable dress for today's is our customer's christening gown!

This stunning frame design has multiple unique features we'll address. First, the gorgeous stormy blue suede mat is from the one and only Crescent Brands! The suede texture and blue color call to mind the water that is used in the baptism ceremony.
Inside the edge of the top mat is a fillet. Fillet's are used to create a special look on the lip of either a frame or a mat. Depicted here, the fillet is on the inside of the top mat. This helps give an extra layer of depth to break up the blue matting. This fillet is the Larson-Juhl Chateau Watergilded Fillet.
The frame, also a Larson piece, is called Ambrosia Silver. The delicate floral scroll work highlights the dainty details in the dress itself.
