Looking for something to do this weekend? Come check out Stitching our Stories: The Asian Perspective!
This exhibition pulls together artworks by artists of different ages, backgrounds, and media to piece together a collective story about Asians in art. From performance to sculpture, digital to oils, each work brings audiences into a new perspective. In addition to art pieces, the exhibition also includes posters of each artist that detail their background, their work, and quotes from interviews conducted in the months before the showcase. Clips from these interviews will also be presented. The exhibition not only hopes to spread Asian culture, but also to reach more audiences who can engage in conversation with this community.
