Her work is focused on her business, Helene Morse Conservation Services, and her unique studio art, which consists primarily of private, custom commissions. Helene counts herself fortunate to have the ability to be creative on a daily basis through her professional work restoring china, porcelain and other pieces of art. Yet, she still makes time for personal artistic endeavors through her sculptu

re. Helene is familiar with the struggle that exists for women today as they work to find a balance between family and work. Being a mother is Helene’s most important role, but fulfilling personal and professional aspirations is a key piece of her happiness. Helene is extremely grateful for the years she spent focused on her children, as she now believes that they led her to new, unexpected creativity as an artist. Helene Morse sculptures are figurative interpretations of everyday life, with a style that exudes energy, intrigue and whimsy. Like a photographer takes a snapshot, Helene captures a transitory moment in her sculpture. From children playing to families gathering, her sculptures have been described as captured moments of joy.

What I enjoy most from my job of restoring loved items, is how happy my clients are when they return for their completed restorations! The stories that I hear ,in regard to how the breakage happened etc.. makes me feel like a therapist of sorts! What I do is joyful and many times, very challenging!

This pup was kicked around for years. He had been taped together and improperly glued for years and years! It actually was more difficult for me to removed the stickiness of melted tape and bad glue than to restore properly.
