Andrea LeBlond graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1995 with a BFA in ceramics. For two decades, she has been a ceramics instructor at Community College's Eastern and Metro Campuses, The University of Akron and the Cleveland Institute of Art.

"My work is about cultivating order within the chaos of life. Drawing inspiration from cellular organisms, microscopic particles and the geology of my environment. I welcome balance, symmetry and precision into my pieces--invoking the order and stillness that is found buried within life's inevitable disarray"

Join Andrea along with Beth Lindenberger, Donna Webb and Sandy Miller in their upcoming exhibition titled Drawn to Clay: The Alchemy of the Elements, opening THIS FRIDAY during 78th Street Studios THIRD FRIDAY Art Walk!

Beth Lindenberger has been an Art Faculty member at Kent State's Stark Campus, Cuyahoga Community College and the University of Akron from 1997-2015. For over 30 years, she has been the Ceramics Studio Manager and Instructor at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center.

"As a student of sculpture, I found clay to encompass all the flexible properties that bronze, wood, and stone did not. The effects of fire on clay, the richness of the glazed surfaces and the ability to duplicate the qualities of other materials was an instant draw"
