🌟 Mandi Bentley Fox Fable Art

"I am a digital illustrator, who got their start in online fandom spaces. In the beginning, a lot of my inspiration came from anime, manga, and gaming, but recently my focus has been rooted more in fantasy. Animals, mushrooms, and magic. I want to create art with a bit of dark whimsy."

Our featured artist today from Comic Pop Culture Art Exhibition is
🌟 LANDYN

"Charles" was originally a shadow study and ultimately a test of speed for myself, but as I slowed down I noticed a cheeky personality started to come through. He kind of reminds me of my dad. I have very few charcoal pieces, but this one is definitely one of my favorites.

Our featured artist today from Comic Pop Culture Art Exhibition is
🌟 Zanna Thompson

My name is Zanna Thompson— I am originally from Georgia but I now reside in Cleveland, Tennessee. I mainly work with digital art, as I find it to be extremely accessible and it’s the medium that inspired me the most when I was younger. As a 2000’s kid, I was on the internet from age 12 and on, which is when my love of digital art began. The Comic and Pop Culture theme gave me an opportunity to share some pieces for fandoms that motivate me as an artist.

Charcoal has always been at the heart of my art career, and at times when I'm feeling lost I like to return to it. There's a comfort in feeling the drag of the willow stick against the paper.

Merma is a character from the infamous StarWars Holiday Special. I wanted to do something unique and unexpected for the Pop Culture show. She's about as niche of a reference as I could find! I hope everyone enjoys the piece, and if it encourages you to go watch the Holiday Special, welcome to the next level of nerdom. You're in good company.

On exhibit and available for sale through Oct 31.

Another fresh new piece and from Comic Pop Culture Art Exhibition is local Cleveland artist and sculptor
🌟 Ty Kerr

"I've always loved to draw and paint but was wanting to do something different. My grandmother used to make jewelry boxes from broken costume jewelry glued to old cigar boxes. That's where my idea of "junkart" began. I was born and raised in Cleveland."

My Comic Pop paintings are from a world that I'll never see. I'm terrified of dark water and can only imagine the colorful beauties that appear on my TV screen.

"Pretty Penny" is full of ocean life:so many bright colors.

"Lucky Louie" is lucky because as his body separates, his fins jump the gap and hold him together. What a magical world he swims in.

And...,who doesn't love "Beetlejuice"with his striped worms causing havoc. My last painting is "Shout out Happy!" Just a fun doodle that makes me smile! How about you?

This show was an opportunity to show off bright colors and insights that most of us ever encounter.
I enjoyed participating in this show and am looking forward to next year's show"

Our featured artist today from Comic Pop Culture Art Exhibition is
🌟 Cait Lemon Smith

Cait has made art for as long as she can remember - a second passion, right behind animal welfare, after fifteen-plus years working in veterinary medicine.
Both live in every piece: her work celebrates the connection between humanity and the natural world, one animal, one face, one small everyday miracle at a time.

She works in all types of media on each piece - ink, oil, pastel, gold leaf, whatever the painting asks for - enjoying how different materials push against each other. Or, in her words: "I make a mess 'til it's pretty." She loves to teach art to people of all ages, no matter what their goals are. Much of her work is commission-based. Bring her your idea - or your dog.

Cait painted the Periodical Drama series not just to show her love of comics but to pay homage to the retro comics fans used to get in regular publications, delivered right to their door. A recent fascination with the expressive human face in her work paired well with the super dramatic style of these comics.

"Periodical Drama" series 1,2&3 are on exhibit and AVAILABLE for sale through Oct 30th.

Original Works:
"Memories of the Shire" & "F.U.N." are on exhibit and available for sale through Oct 30th.

"My work reflects the feeling I get when I close my eyes and try to remember something I can’t quite place. Certain details are incredibly clear, while everything surrounding them is hazy enough that I wonder if it was a dream. A childhood memory of my grandmother’s house, a building on my way to work, or the sound of a river I haven’t heard in years. Ordinary things that, for reasons I can’t explain, feel important.

I work primarily in watercolor and ink to explore the tension between what we can control and what we can not. Loose, unpredictable watercolor washes coexist with carefully inked details, reflecting not only the haziness and clarity of memory but also two strong parts of myself. One craves structure and precision, while the other wants the freedom to create without restraint.

My work is where these two sides coexist, each giving the other something it can not achieve alone. Through this balance, I hope to capture the feeling of an almost-forgotten memory and invite others to find something of their own within it."
