🎶🎤 Experience the music of Seminole singer-songwriter Rita Youngman next Saturday June 27th at the Seminole Artist Experience Art Sale !

Rita Youngman is a member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and a member of the Bird Clan. A granddaughter of Toby and Rosa Johns of the Brighton Seminole Indian Reservation. She has spent more than a decade writing, recording, and performing original music that reflects Seminole culture and identity. Songs such as “Egmont Key” and “Hush” draw inspiration from tribal history, oral traditions, and the teachings of Seminole elders. Through music and oral tradition, Rita brings to life stories inspired by Seminole heritage, family history, and the Florida landscape. Her songs weave together cultural knowledge, personal experiences, and narratives passed down through generations, offering audiences a meaningful connection to both the past and present of Seminole life.
