Fire and Clay

Fire and Clay Cyndy Littleton produces and sells functional pottery in Clifton Forge, Virginia. Pottery is more than just taking clay and producing something useful from it.

Each unique piece is made from wild clay then sprayed with a flashing slip and glazed prior to firing in a spring arch woodfire kiln built by Cyndy and her husband. Its a discovery process involving a blend of patience, chemistry, and wonder. The goal of Fire, and Clay is to produce pieces that blend with nature and have a purpose.
