Soccer season is underway in Clifton! We are proud to have a park that serves as the perfect space for our community’s soccer programs while also giving families a great place to gather and enjoy the outdoors.

A big thank you to our Public Works Department for the hard work they put into keeping our parks well maintained, safe, and looking great for everyone to enjoy.

TxDOT continues construction on FM 219 towards Laguna Park. We have great communication with TxDOT, and will continue to update as needed.

CLIFTON | Starting next Monday, June 1, TxDOT and its contractor will start a roadway rehabilitation project on FM 219 from SH 6 to SH 22 in Bosque County. The project will include roadway widening, rehabilitation, and a bridge replacement over Childress Creek. The project will require various lane closures throughout the project, which is scheduled to complete by early 2028.

Bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends and family, and make plans to spend the evening with us as we celebrate America 250 in Clifton. The fireworks show will begin after dark.🎆

As seasonal mowing operations are now underway throughout the City of Clifton, we kindly ask residents to be mindful of City crews working along roadways, parks, and public spaces. Please slow down, use caution when driving near mowing equipment, and help us keep our employees safe as they work to maintain our community throughout the spring and summer months.

We would also like to remind residents that blowing or placing grass clippings, leaves, or other yard debris into streets and roadways is prohibited. Debris in the streets can clog drainage systems, create hazardous driving conditions, and increase cleanup costs for the City.

Thank you for helping us keep Clifton clean, safe, and beautiful.
