The Brevard Museum of History & Natural Science will be closed on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in observance of Independence Day.

We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday as we celebrate our nation's independence. The museum will reopen during its regular business hours following the holiday.

Plan your summer visit to the Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science!

Looking for a fun and educational summer outing? The Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science has something for everyone, and admission is always free!

Be sure to catch the popular Trains Exhibit on Saturday, June 6. The museum will be closed on Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day, and while the museum will reopen for regular Saturday hours after the holiday, the Trains Exhibit won't return until August 1.

🎄🚂 Trains for Christmas at Cocoa’s Brevard Museum!

All aboard for some holiday fun! Every Saturday in December, visit the Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science and experience an incredible model train display presented by the fecNtrak model train group from the Florida East Coast Railway Society.

Their detailed layout replicates the 351-mile railway from Jacksonville to Miami—and the best part? Kids (ages 8 to 80+) can step in and be an engineer!
