Two people. One route. A thousand reasons to disagree.

Danny is a white, blue-collar, born-and-bred New Yorker. Marlowe is Black, Ivy-League-educated, and just joined the sanitation department. Over the course of countless trash pickups, this odd couple bickers, bonds, and uncovers unexpected truths about themselves — and the city they serve.

Directed by GerRee Hinshaw, The Garbologists closes Theatreworks’ 50th season with grit, laughter, and plenty of trash talk. On stage June 11 through 28.

A new exhibition is coming to the Gallery of Contemporary Art.

Simulacra brings together the work of Dornith Doherty, Etsuko Ichikawa, and Bill Viola in an exhibition where nature appears as an apparition.

The exhibition considers how the natural world persists when our encounters are increasingly mediated by technology and threatened by ecological collapse.
We invite you to experience contemporary art that opens space for reflection, attention, and care in the Anthropocene.

Hundreds gathered at the Ent Center for the Arts for the debut of Theatreworks’ 51st Season, a powerful reminder that world-class theatre is happening right here in Colorado Springs.

For more than five decades, Theatreworks has brought bold storytelling, unforgettable performances, and exceptional artistry to the stage. This season continues that legacy with productions like The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Private Lives, Dear Elizabeth, and more.

Colorado Springs does not have to look far for premier theatre experiences. From timeless classics to daring productions, this is your invitation to make a night of it, gather your people, and experience the kind of theatre that gives you something to talk about long after the curtain closes.

The curtain is rising on Season 51. Come see what everyone is talking about.
