As part of America 250 - Colorado 150 Commemoration, this year’s event reflects a milestone moment in our nation’s story. The sesquisemiquincentennial marks 250 years of the nation’s independence and 150 years of Colorado, and space exploration continues to shape what comes next.

Join us Saturday, May 2 at Space Foundation Discovery Center for the National Space Day Community Event. Get an up-close look at the Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU), on temporary loan from Axiom Space.

Developed for NASA’s Artemis missions, this next-generation spacesuit is designed to support astronauts as they return to the Moon and prepare for future missions to Mars. With advanced materials, enhanced mobility, and integrated technology, AxEMU represents a major step forward in how humans will live and work in space.
