“Reflections on Nature” -Gallery 113’s Featured Artists for June 2026, Jane Hammoud and Susan McDowell, celebrate springtime with a showing of their work in clay and paint, art that reflects the joy of nature’s renewal. Hammoud’s new pottery is inspired by the spring blossoms’ colors, and McDowell’s paintings in acrylic shimmer with the glitter of sunny gardens. Both artists have an eye for design and a love of color. Come by Gallery 113 for the First Friday Art Walk, June 5 at 125 N. Tejon 5-8 pm. April is winding down…GALLERY 113’s May Featured Artists are Dana Lee Stoner and Denise Duker!
Stoner’s evocative photography studies the grace and beauty of animal behavior in their natural habitats and the ever changing drama of Colorado’s unique settings. Duker’s luminous “Year of the Fire Horse” series bounces color, light, and form off the surface giving energy and dualistically a sense of stillness to her work. Whether landscapes or whimsical settings, her work is exploratory and bold.
