New represented artist Sarah Packard!!

New work by Sarah Packard has arrived at the Broadmoor Galleries, and her story is as vibrant as the landscapes she paints.

Raised in Western Colorado, Sarah grew up with the San Juan mountains at her doorstep and the red‑rock country of Utah shaping her sense of wonder. A recent summer spent immersed in Alaska’s wild, untouched beauty only deepened her connection to the natural world.

Painting is her way of honoring that gratitude — a heartfelt response to the places she explores. Guided early on by an excellent high‑school art teacher, she has since studied primarily with her father, renowned impressionist Gregory Packard, and expanded her skills through an online course with Jeremy Lipking.

With a brand‑new biology degree and a fearless spirit, Sarah steps into her artistic career with talent, authenticity, and a voice we’re thrilled to champion. We’re honored to represent her at the beginning of what promises to be an inspiring journey.

Artist Spotlight: Garrett Schuh!!!

From right here in Colorado Springs, the Broadmoor Galleries is proud to represent fine artist Garrett Schuh—whose oil paintings bring the enduring spirit of the American West to life. His work channels the rugged beauty of Western figures, horses, and sweeping landscapes, drawing inspiration from the Taos Society of Artists and Frederic Re*****on. Through rich textures and dynamic compositions, Garrett captures the energy, character, and timeless appeal of the West.

His paintings have been exhibited and sold at the prestigious Mountain Oyster Show in Arizona, a testament to his dedication to Western art and its vibrant community of collectors.

Before devoting himself fully to painting, Garrett spent 20 years as a designer in New York and Washington, D.C., after earning his B.A. in Graphic Art and Design from the University of Maryland. His move to Colorado in 2006 opened the door to pursue painting full-time—allowing him to connect deeply with the landscapes and stories that fuel his creativity today.

Three dynamic new bronzes from the Broadmoor Galleries—each one showing off Margery Torrey’s unmistakable charm and sculptural finesse.

The first, a lively fish study, began right here on property during the Broadmoor Art Experience 2025. Seeing it now fully realized is a joy: fluid movement, crisp detail, and that signature Torrey energy.

The other two are wall‑mounted gems—a spirited pig head and an expressive squirrel—each bursting with personality. They’re playful, character‑driven pieces that bring a smile the moment you see them.
