Perched on a hillside above the Columbia River, the historic home of the Caples Family is a time-capsule in history. There is also a Pioneer Tool Shed and the Children's Attic. The Knapp Social Center is available for meetings and events. Have your wedding, retreat, conference or party in this private and historic setting overlooking the magnificent and mighty river! Museum Hours: March 1 through October 31
Friday (11-4), Saturday (11-3), and Sunday (1-3)

On November 1st, join us in Lucinda Caples's Sunday Tea Parlor for Tea and Treats. Our chef has planned gluten-free Classic Cherry Clafoutis paired with Earl Grey Tea. You're also invited to tour a very special traveling exhibition of the American Battlefield Experience which will be on display in the Knapp Social Center for a limited time.

In case you were wondering, the Sunday teas at Caples House Museum are returning after a summer break. Next Sunday, September 6th, will be your opportunity to enjoy tea featuring an apple hazelnut crisp with vanilla ice cream - a perfect way to welcome the fall season! Remember that these teas are always gluten free.
We will also have some fun checking on your knowledge, and learning more, about the American Revolutionary War. Our discussions are always informative and pretty entertaining.
The cost of this tea is $15 and it all goes to support our lovely museum. There are two seatings - one at 2:00 and one at 3:00. For $5 more, you can get an informative tour of the museum.
