The Marion County Museum & Archives has a NEW exhibit "Old-Tech/New-Tech" opening April 2, 2026. The exhibit includes old business machines, telephones, WFFF's audio consoles, motion picture cameras, a slot machine,etc. The NEW-Tech area includes computers from the 1980's forward, highlighted by a 1984 Apple MacIntosh signed by Steve Jobs and partner. This exhibit will be open through July, 2026.
Permanent exhibits include: Native American, Military, Pioneer, Sports, Rodeo, Civil War, Civil Rights, Political, Medical and Pioneer.
Hours: Thursday-Friday 9:00-2:00; Saturday 9:00-5:00
200 Second Street near City Hall in Columbia.

NEW EXHBIT - MILITARY UNIFORMS from Marion County Veterans through August, 2025.
Displayed in the exhibit are uniforms from Marion County Veterans and their families from World War l, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Gulf War. The Museum is FREE to the public. Hours: Thurs & Fri 9-2:00 and Saturday 9-5:00 at the west end of Second Street in the old train depot.
