Lloyd Mifflin glass plate negative cleaned up and woman is unidentified. Did you know that the Columbia Historic Preservation Society has over 300 glass plate negatives from our own Lloyd Mifflin along with books, China set, paintings, poems and sonnets. We are honored to be working with The Lloyd Mifflin Society on the preservation and restoration of these prized archives.

Thanks to the Columbia Fire Department for a well organized parade and shout out for our own Jerry Wasche who was a Judge for the parade.
Very few towns in America can celebrate with over 225 years of dedicated volunteers services then the Columbia Fire Companies.

1913 Columbia Old Home Week parade with the Vigilant Fire Company Marching Band passing by the Shawnee Fire Company which was a ritual to pass all fire companies during the parade.
