701 CCA is excited to welcome nationally acclaimed mixed-media artist Vitus Shell as our July Artist in Residence!
Known for his bold, layered works exploring Black identity, history, and contemporary culture, Shell creates powerful pieces that spark conversation and invite deeper reflection. Throughout his residency, he’ll be developing new work while engaging with the Columbia community through special programs and events.
