Our mission is to create new generations of lifelong learners! Our Exhibits:
Behind EdVenture’s doors, we are proud to have nine world-class exhibit galleries, a library, learning laboratories, resource centers and other visitor amenities. Two additional outdoor gallery spaces are located just outside the museum’s front doors. Within the total 92,000 square feet that is EdVenture Children’s Museum, there are more than 350 individual hands-on exhibits.

☀️💛 WOW—what an incredible Kickoff to Summer! 💛☀️

Today was everything we hoped for and more. From hands-on activities and playful learning to games, giveaways, and so many smiling faces, we had an amazing time celebrating the start of summer with you. ✨

A special thank you to SC Teacher of the Year Corey Bedenbaugh for joining us as we honored his incredible impact and officially welcomed summer by lighting “J” the firefly on Eddie’s finger. 💡 What a memorable moment!

Most of all—thank you to every community partner, family, member, and friend who came out to celebrate with us. Your energy, excitement, and joy made the day so special.

Summer is officially here, and we can’t wait to make more memories with you at EdVenture. 💛☀️

☀️🎉 We were honored to receive this special message from South Carolina Superintendent of Education Ellen Weaver for our Kickoff to Summer celebration! 💛📚

While she couldn’t join us in person, we’re so thankful for her support as we officially flip the switch into summer learning and fun at EdVenture today. We believe learning doesn’t stop when school ends, and Kickoff to Summer is all about inspiring families to stay curious, creative, and engaged all summer long. ☀️🧠

Join us tomorrow from 9 AM – 2 PM for our Annual Kickoff to Summer! It’s a day packed with hands-on activities, games, giveaways (while supplies last), and playful learning for the whole family!✨

We’ll also celebrate a special moment at 10 AM as we honor Corey Bedenbaugh, South Carolina teacher of the year, who will light “J” the firefly on Eddie’s finger to officially flip the switch to summer at EdVenture. 💡☀️

🥣🎨 Help us turn cardboard into ART! 🎨🥣

We are collecting empty cereal boxes and other colorful cardboard packaging for an upcoming special event with Pop Artist Michael Albert ! 🌈✨

On Saturday, July 4, Michael Albert will bring his interactive Cereal Box Collage Workshop to EdVenture as part of his Summer Southern Pop Art Tour. During this hands-on experience, children and families can create collaborative artwork and their own pop art masterpieces using recycled materials like cereal boxes, cookie boxes, cracker boxes, soda cartons, tea boxes, and more! 🖍️♻️

We’d love your help collecting materials for this creative community project! Donations can be dropped off at the museum leading up to the event.

Kickoff to Summer is a fun-filled day packed with hands-on activities, community partners, entertainment from DJ Pre-K, giveaways (while supplies last), your 2026 Summer bucket list, and playful learning experiences designed to inspire curiosity and launch families into an unforgettable summer.

If you’re still making summer plans, now’s the perfect time to sign up for EdVenture Summer Camps! Each week is filled with hands-on learning, creative play, exciting challenges, and unforgettable adventures designed to keep curious minds active all summer long. 💛🧠✨

From science and art to problem-solving, teamwork, cooking and more! Campers ages 5–10 will explore, create, and discover in a fun, safe, and supportive environment! 🔬🎨🌈🦖
