Today was an exciting day for The Litttle Railroad. We brought home our 1920 ALCO 0-4-0 STEAM engine to begin restoration! Restoration will be completed on site within our workshop.

The jacks being used are called whiting screw jacks capable of lifting 100 tons! The jacks are controlled with a remote control!

The locomotive we are working on is a EMD Model 40 and
There were only 11 built, 2 are currently running, this will be the 3rd. Currently sand blasting and painting, Black Friday will be the install of wheels and motors! She will then be moved to private property in December where she will be placed on track being laid by hand! Please follow us to watch all our progress! .
