Thank you for the outpouring of support and concern following the fire that caused significant damage to the Kelton House Museum & Garden. We are thankful that everyone is safe and for the swift response of the Columbus Fire Department and emergency personnel.

At this time, the Kelton House Museum & Garden will remain closed until further notice as we assess the extent of the damage and next steps. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this devastating event for our community and the Junior League of Columbus.

We will have more information soon on how you can help support recovery efforts.

📚✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us at The Kelton House Museum and Garden last week as we commemorate International Underground Railroad Month in Ohio!

We were honored to welcome authors David Meyer and Elise Meyer Walker, whose work - including Historic Black Settlements of Ohio, The Reverse Underground Railroad in Ohio, and Tales of Ohio’s Underground Railroad - sheds light on vital chapters of history.

Guests enjoyed an insightful discussion about their research and writing, followed by a special book signing. Thank you again to the authors and our attendees for making this event meaningful and memorable!
