🐝💙 Meet the Blue Orchard Mason Bee💙🐝

If you didn’t know that blue bees exist, now ya know!

✨Unlike honeybees, mason bees are solitary & gentle!

✨One mason bee can pollinate as efficiently as dozens of honeybees! (They pollinate by belly flopping into flowers🥹)

✨They love to feast on fruit tree blossoms, dandelions, maple flowers, and wildflowers!

I like to call them Lil’ Blueberry Bees 🫐🥰

Very grateful for 2025 & all that it came with.

That is one of the biggest reasons I do what I do.

Okay friends… I HAD to show you this beauty before she officially becomes part of my next oddity piece, because she is the moment💋🤌🏼

This gorgeous specimen is a female Magnificent Swallowtail (Papilio Garamas) - a dramatic little queen from Central America who struts around in deep chocolate wings with bold yellow “look at me” stripes. ✨

🦋Female swallowtails have slightly wider wings and extra speckling, which honestly just adds to their “main character” energy!

🌿In the wild, these beauties spend their baby days munching on citrus leaves like little green gremlins. Once they transform, they sip nectar from lantana, hibiscus, verbena, and anything else sweet enough to tempt them!
