In Celebration of the Columbus Bicentennial the Clintonville Historical society, the Maize Road Civic Association, the North Broadway Street Association, and the City of Columbus have partnered to lead the creation of a history themed gateway mural along the sidewalls of the railroad underpass located on East North Broadway between I-71 and lndianola Avenue. This monumental mural is being designed
by artist Greg Ackers who has painted other spectacular murals in the Columbus area including the trains and train depot in the Short North and murals in Franklinton. This will be his largest mural ex*****on to date. The mural will be a collage of iconic images over two hundred years of this area's history. History that begins with Native Americans, progresses to the creation of the Northwest Territory, the settlement of pioneers, the conversion of dense forest to farmland, and the development of farmland to housing stock. It will be a beautiful gateway and will serve as an educational tool for future generations. The Clintonville Historical Society is a qualified 501(c)(3) charity and all donations for the Clintonville Linden History Mural are income tax deductible. We ask that you consider a generous donation earmarked for the mural! Mail to the Clintonville Historical Society, P.O. Box 14315, Columbus, OH 43214. C/O "The Gateway History Murals on E.N.
