Congratulations to Nick and Ava on celebrating one of life’s most meaningful moments in a space as timeless as their love. Go Native Gallery was honored to provide a romantic, art-filled setting for their intimate marriage proposal — where every painting, every light, and every detail added to the magic of the moment. Cheers to a beautiful beginning together. 🥂💍👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻

✨Artist Spotlight: Ina Qirushi✨

Ina Qirushi is a costume designer and visual artist based in Maine, working across theater, painting, and illustration. Her creative practice is rooted in storytelling—whether expressed through fabric and form on stage or line and color on the canvas.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Costume and Set Design, following earlier formal training in fine art at a professional art school. This combined foundation in design and classical visual arts informs her interdisciplinary approach, uniting technical precision with intuitive expression.

As a designer, Ina explores the relationship between the human body and its environment. Through costume, makeup, masks, and accessories, she constructs visual narratives that bring characters to life. Her designs are expressive, intentional, and deeply attuned to the emotional core of each production.

Ina’s painting practice is more introspective—a space where internal landscapes emerge. Her abstract, non-representational works draw inspiration from nature, memory, and emotion. Gestural marks and organic forms evoke something familiar yet remain open to interpretation, balancing control and spontaneity.

Working one painting at a time, she surrounds herself with her works-in-progress, allowing dialogue between past and present pieces to guide her process. This rhythm keeps her grounded in the moment while connected to a larger creative evolution.

At the heart of her work—on stage or in the studio—is a fascination with imperfection, transformation, and the beauty of the unconventional. Ina views art as reflection: of herself, the world around her, and the unseen threads that connect the two.

For over 30 years Tom has followed a path rich with creativity, crafting a career that spans nine studio albums, numerous songwriting credits, and collaborations with renowned artists such as Willie Porter, Joyce, Anderson, and David Wilcox.

A self taught guitarist and painter, Tom’s music first found its way into New England coffeehouses and street corners at 19. The spirit of the 1970s fueled his travels-first through Europe and South America, then to India, Southeast Asia, China, and Tibet. These journeys immersed him in diverse cultures, shaping his artistry and lyrical storytelling.
