The WMA will be open Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. next week! Our Hendrix students may be on break, but we'll be open for your viewing pleasure. Come see the "Painting the Arkansas Parks" and "kinetikos: of motion" exhibitions! Always free and open to all.

Friday evening’s Conway Art Walk was fantastic! Thanks to all of the community participants! We hope to see you at the museum soon.

We're making floral pop-up cards and dinner is catered by Pea Farm Bistro out of Cabot, AR.
All materials are provided and our Windgate Wednesdays are always Free & Open to All!

The Windgate Museum of Art proudly announces its 2026 K-12 exhibition "Imaginative Machines!"
Pairing with our spring exhibition, kinētikos: of motion, students from across Arkansas were asked to dig deep into their imaginations to produce mechanical marvels the likes of which the world has never seen! Robots, rocket cars, automatic dog-walkers, the sky’s the limit! All are on view in the WMA window galleries through April 2026. 80 pieces of art by 79 student artists were chosen from nearly 600 entries!
Opening reception is Saturday, February 6th from 12–2 p.m.

The opening reception for "kinētikos: of motion" is postponed until Feb. 20 due to inclement weather.
**The exhibition is on view now, free, and open to all!**
Join us from 5-7 p.m. on Feb. 20th for the reception that will also celebrate the arrival of the "Painting the Arkansas Parks" exhibition, a juried exhibition featuring paintings by members of the Heart of America Artists’ Association.
Museum hours are Tues. - Sat., 12 - 5 p.m.

Here is the BREAKFAST edition of our countdown to the “kinetikos: of motion” exhibition!
Brooklyn based BREAKFAST is a data-driven kinetic artist known for creating mesmerizing, interactive sculptures that transform real-time data into physical, undulating forms using custom hardware and software, blending art, engineering, and computer science to explore technology's role in our lives.
Experience “Spectral Flashbacks in Green” at the opening reception on Friday, Jan. 23rd from 5-7pm!

Ceramicist Erik Ordaz Lozano will be at the WMA on November 5th at 5 p.m. to discuss process, alchemy, and the art of abstraction in his work.
His exhibition, “Loco Planetarium: 2039,” is on view in the museum’s window galleries through December 12, 2025. Erik is an Assistant Professor of Art at Stephen F. Austin State University. His work is deeply influenced by his cultural background and interdisciplinary interests, incorporating methods that walk the line between sculpture, craft, and design thinking.
Join us in welcoming this talented academic from East Texas to Conway!
