Franklin Fixtures celebrated an exciting milestone this week with the ribbon cutting for our new 28,000 square foot warehouse and facilities expansion, bringing our total footprint to over 90,000 square feet here in Cookeville, Tennessee.

This growth represents more than added space. It reflects the trust of our customers, the dedication of our team, and our continued commitment to crafting high-quality retail display fixtures for bookstores, libraries, and retailers across the country.

We are especially proud that this expansion includes our new employee Wellness Room, offering on-site clinic and counseling services as a company-paid benefit. The people behind our products are the heart of Franklin Fixtures, and investing in their well-being is an important part of who we are.

Independent bookstores are on the rise, and that is good news for all of us.

A recent Good Good Good article (data from ABA) shared that the number of independent bookstores in the U.S. grew by 70% between 2020 and 2025. In 2025 alone, 422 new independently owned shops opened across the country, up 31% from 2024.

We have seen this growth firsthand at Franklin Fixtures, with more new and expanding bookstores creating spaces that invite discovery, connection, and community.

It is a beautiful reminder that bookstores are more than places to buy books. They are places of connection, discovery, and community.
