This months guild meeting explored the art of resin pouring to enhance your art. Daniel Listwan and Danny Dobbins took turns teaching the group the techniques and best practices they learned while developing their art.

The Coral Springs Artist Guild started in 1973 as a non-profit, tax-exempt organization whose sole purpose is to foster, encourage, and facilitate interest in the fine arts. In 2021, the Coral Springs Artist Guild and the Coral Springs Museum of Art decided that the Coral Springs Artist Guild would release their independent non-profit status and become a program of the Coral Springs Museum of Art. Today the guild is committed to collaborating with other arts organizations and artists to support and enhance the arts community.

Coral Springs Museum of Art Guild member Judy Nunno, recently had 14 watercolor paintings accepted into the Candyland exhibit at the Frank C. Ortiz Gallery in Pembroke Pines.

Judy says she never planned to become a watercolor painter. A self-taught artist, she began painting after an early retirement. She took a few watercolor classes at a community center, and was hooked on the medium. She loves that painting in watercolor allows her to create beauty using light and shadows.

The Coral Springs Artist Guild is where artists of all skill levels and media can come together and share and get inspired. If you are interested in joining the guild visit the link in the bio.
