Corey Sena primarily creates by throwing a mix of porcelain and stoneware on the wheel and then utilizing a variety of surface decoration techniques, including sgraffito, appliqués, and carving.

Pottery is Corey's happy place. It centers her and connects her back to myself. The joy it brings her, she hopes to share with you.

Beth McCash was raised with the freedom to explore and create, not just as a child, but as a young adult, pursuing art in college.

Beth sees the world through a lens that abstracts the world into simplified shapes- and boldly expresses them just as she learned in graphic design. Whether it’s nature or figures, Beth uses acrylic/mixed media to deconstruct the ordinary things of life and re-imagine them into new creative expressions. I use color to reflect a particular mood or feeling…and torn paper to give texture and visual interest.

Beth's collection at Studio C is an explosion of wonderful color and design. You'll want to come see it just for the smile her work will give you. It's a great day to buy happy art!

A creative hippie at heart, Heidy Ashton, another new artist at Studio C, truly enjoys creating beautiful, fun, and functional art.

She enjoys working with recycled bottles! When she started this work in 2012, giving a new function to something once discarded, like glass bottles, it became a labor of love.

Heidy's pieces are etched with animals, flowers, and shells, offering you unique, one-of-a-kind art. Perfect for yourself or your gift-giving.

Studio C Artist Change-Out is complete and we have some amazing new artists for you, including Susan Baker Logrbrinck, a textiles and quilting artist.

Quilting has traditionally been seen as "women’s work," which was not accepted as fine art. Susan believes a quilted piece can hang proudly beside any painting in any gallery.

There's humor in what she does (especially when animals get involved), and a deep love for the wild beauty of Texas—its native plants, animals, and its wild, larger-than-life charm.

Come on in to Studio C and enjoy the fun, vivid, awesome wall quilts by Susan Baker Logrbrinck. It's a great time to buy art!

Currently exploring digital work with edited and some composited images, Jaimie Ladysh prints her images on archival paper, then further manipulates them with hand-coloring, hand-painting, and encaustics. She uses oil pencils, pastels, oil paint, egg tempera paint, and sometimes other media. The results are often described as ethereal.

Her new collection at Studio C is worth the trip downtown because it's a great time to buy art!

Did you know that woodturning dates back to at least 700 BC, with early archaeological evidence found in ancient Egypt, Etruscan sites in Italy, and Bronze Age settlements? The ancient craft in which a piece of wood is spun rapidly on a machine called a Lathe while the maker uses handheld cutting tools—like gouges and chisels—to shape it into a symmetrical, rounded object.

Tom Gentry, a local woodturner, uses more modern equipment to create his beautiful woodturned pieces, but the overall craft is much the same.

Studio C has a wonderful collection of Tom's woodturning made out of locally sourced wood such as masquite, oak and ash. Stop by and enjoy it for yourself!
