What a great day for the kids (1st grade) from Elsa Meyer Elementary school. The field trip went great. Amazing and well behaved kids learning about the days of past. This is such a cool story. I was driving by the Village just now. There was around 30 people all in blue matching T-Shirts. They were sitting on park benches, standing behind buildings and trees throughout the park. My curiosity got the best of me and pulled in. The T-Shirts said "Walk for Ann". The grandaughter told me her Grandmother has been logging in a notebook her walks for 2.5 years. Where she walked how far, etc. Today one of her kin asked to walk with her because it is her 1,000 logged walk. She asked her to walk at the Village. So, as she is walking her family is going to pop out at different times throughout her walk, surprising her. She is 87 years old. I had to share this story because I think this is so cool. What an amazing community we have. Happy 1,000 walk Ma'am. 👍👍🙂🙂
