Hello Friends and Art Fans!
Sharon and Holly extend warm greetings and health-filled wishes, especially since it’s been so long since we’ve seen so many of you. We have recently decided to make some changes at The Hold Studio and wanted to share them with you.
Within Madison Plaza, the “Starbucks building” at 4th & Madison in downtown Corvallis, we are in the process of downsizing. Our dear little 10’ x 10’ gallery space, affectionately named “The Hold” because of its petite size, does not easily lend itself to social distancing. With that in mind, July will be our last month in Suite E-2.
We’ll still have a presence in Madison Plaza, though! In the lobby, just in front of PreAtomic Records, we’ll have some smaller art pieces in a glass display case. And we’ll keep an exterior display window along 4th Street, so you can get a little art fix while walking or driving by.
We will continue our art partnership, virtually, as we intend to keep a social media presence for The Hold. We hope you’ll continue to follow our adventures online! When either of us is ready, there will be venues where we can hang our art as guests. We’ll remain active in the arts community and carry forward with the valued relationships we’ve established.
We don’t know when the Corvallis Arts Walk (CAW) will resume, but you’re welcome to see our artwork online, and in the lobby of Madison Plaza. And, look here soon for an art sale on some of the larger pieces that won’t be able to move into the display case.
We wish to thank you for the great memories you’ve helped us make over the past (almost) three years in Suite E-2. We’ve learned so much while contributing to the Corvallis art scene. None of it would have been possible or worthwhile without our supporters, and we are forever grateful. This is not “Goodbye”! We are excited for the next part of this journey, with you all along for the ride! ❤️
