Just because it’s been quiet here online doesn’t mean it’s been quiet in the gallery! Thank you all for keeping it — and us — going. This post is a double delight! 😍First, an exciting visiting artist drop-off — Betty Mack we see you and your jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring miniature bookshelf stocked with an animal plant stand, flowers, teeny artworks, books with bindings, jar of “shells,” and more (it’s so hard to leave for someone else!) ! Then, a super fun visit by a dear friend, an adorable fan of the FLAG (can’t you just feel her kid-in-a-candy-store-energy?) and a past contributor here of beautiful watercolors. She’s secretly super creative in multiple mediums, has projects in the works and ideas galore, and we’re looking forward to her next submission. (Hint, hint.) Thanks for stopping in, T! Thank you, Beth, for these sweet bunny and dino hand-drawn blank notecards, each with their own specially designed envelopes. Find them before they’re gone and send a note to a loved one! Also new? A few nearly bare days at Madeline♥️More Free Little Art Gallery can dim one’s light, for sure. To remedy that, we’ve got several pieces freshly varnished but just not yet ready to come out to play. And yet … today the FLAG burst back to life! Thanks to who must’ve snuck two more lovelies in right under my painting-near-the-window-but-missed-it nose. 🧐 We added some more goodies, including ’s Claw-some woodblock print sticker, sweet spin-art, and lots of heart in all the forms for good measure! Make this week a good one, folks … (and it’s got to be, when there’s more art to come, right?!)

So pleased to share this week’s goodies … they really are giving difficult days moments of pure joy. Creative souls doing their thing and if they’re like me, maybe it’s to help get through the days. Creating means vision and hope and all the things a soul needs. Coming home to such beautiful gifts this week makes me catch my breath. Thank you! Especially excited we can name most everyone who gifted our FLAG this week: Jodi makes her second appearance, just a week after her bubbly watercolor, with mixed media piece (the writer in me loves when words appear in work!); Betty Mack and her miniature masterpieces are back for the third straight week, and she’s not playing around (See what we did there? And are you seeing those gamelicious toy throwbacks?!); West Milford’s Cassidy’s meticulous attention to tiny detail has us craving cookies and ice cream sandwiches. They’re so delicious she sent us three sets, so we’ll space these beauties out the next couple weeks; and a surprise trio of fab paintings by Lisa Caliendo Dickerson by , who may just have made her debut here? Love! Thank you ALL for sharing yourselves with Madeline♥️More Free Little Art Gallery this week — you’re helping brighten the world as it goes ‘round!

SO much to share today! and her miniatures strikes again! We were so surprised and glad to have her back! In fact, her miniature cloche with striking details (it’s got to be a poem inside that tiny note!) is stunning and disappeared before we could even post about it. Wild! Then arrived yesterday in a double batch! Honoring Ukraine (and part of my heritage) is of Virginia and her fabulous woodblock prints. It’s her second MMFLAG appearance and we’re here (and giddy) for it, and also loving her mischievous cat and clawsome lobster prints as stickers! Then, enter Washington State’s (winner for furthest contribution yet!) with her gorgeous paper marbling and feathered beauties in hearts and shamrocks, each with a special, inspiring message on the back. Love and luck, indeed! Despite the rainy weather this morning, two beautiful, youthful paintings arrived, still damp with Mother Nature: abstract turquoise and gold markmaking, and a scarlet butterfly, wings spread wide and rain be darned! Thank you ALL for the delightful experiences.
