For this drawing session, each artist brought a few things from home to create a still life. We ended up with some very interesting subjects. Although our primary focus in the Sketch Group is to practice our life drawing skills, sometimes it's fun to switch things up.

More drawings from the Sketch Group, 5.11.26. All residents and visitors are invited to join us each Monday morning at 10 a.m. to 11 or 11:30, depending on who's there and how long we choose to continue. All skill levels are welcome. It's a good place to bring in art supplies that you aren't sure how to use as one of us probably has experience with them.

Here are some more sketches from today's session, 5.4.26. We usually start with a couple of quick warm-up sketches that only last 3 minutes, then settle in for a 10 to 20 minute pose which allows for a little more detail.

We had a great morning at the Crescent Harbor Art Gallery's Sketch Group. Our favorite model, Ron C., came in to model for us and as before brought his imaginative and creative ideas for dynamic and sometimes restful poses.
