The early days of skiing in Crested Butte, including Chocolate Peak, Mount Emmons, Gibson Ridge, Quick’s Hill, and Chicken Ranch
Stories of local figures like Karl Easterly and the development of Quick’s Hill

Our annual block party—historically known as the Black & White Ball—is getting a fresh new twist this year!

This year's theme invites guests to come dressed as their favorite Crested Butte tradition—whether that's Disco Inferno, Vinotok, Alley Loop, the Rubber Ducky Race, Chainless, the Klunker, or your favorite local legend. The Crested Butte Museum is home to local traditions, past and present!

This is a community give-back party celebrating the people, traditions, and creative spirit of Crested Butte.

PUB CRAWL! You've never seen historic downtown Crested Butte like this before! Enjoy a beverage and engaging historic tidbits in 3 different locations with the Crested Butte Museum on June 23 6pm! Barb Mason will share her knowledge and stories of the Crested Butte Light & Electric Company (hosted on location at today's Bonez), Sandy Cortner will share stories from her essay about Stefanic's grocery (hosted on location at today's McGill's), and Sam Lumb will share some of his personal nostalgia at the Talk of the Town (thanks Miss Mary!). Our historic pub crawls always sell out; don't wait to reserve your seat for this one of a kind evening. 21+ attendees, please. Non-alcoholic options are available.
